Playing off affinities between musique actuelle and west coast improvisations, Trading Places: Un échange d’improvisateurs is a huge collaboration merging talent and styles from Montreal and Vancouver’s new music scenes. This concert is the culmination of a 10-day residency by Montreal artists Yves Charuest and Elizabeth Lima with Vancouver’s top improvising musicians Peggy Lee, Stefan Smulovitz, and Ben Brown.
Co-presented with Western Front New Music, Coastal Jazz, NOW Society, and Suoni Per Il Popolo.
