The Microcosmos Quartet lead the inaugural performance of The Kessler Academy: an orchestral performance by rising young string professionals and advanced students. After four days of intensive rehearsal, these exciting new performers will take the stage at Pyatt Hall to perform Béla Bartok’s “Divertimento” for string orchestra and other repertoire from the last century: Béla Bartók’s “Divertimento”, Arvo Pärt’s “Fratres”, and Osvaldo Golijov’s “Last Round”.
Presented with the Microcosmos Quartet. Sponsored in part by Susan Kessler.
