Get a glimpse into the extraordinary energy of Vancouver’s music scene in this concert with the city’s finest. Cutting-edge chamber ensemble Standing Wave joins Emerge on Main artists – both past and present – Julia Chien (percussion), Aaron Graham (percussion), and Kimia Koochakzadeh-Yazdi (composer). Featuring works by Missy Mazzoli, Alyssa Weinberg, Casey Cangelosi, and Kimia Koochakzadeh-Yazdi, Still Life with Avalanche is a celebration of the virtuosity that fuels our city.
