Music on Main salutes the solstice with its third annual concert brimming with warm tidings for the winter and luminous music. With a holiday feel that skips the schmaltz, highlights include performances of works written by our outgoing and incoming Composers In Residence. See the return of Caroline Shaw, along with a new solstice-inspired carol by Nicole Lizée.
Caroline Shaw will be joined by Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa, Adrian Verdejo, and Veda Hille performing music by Veda as well as Alfredo Santa Ana, a world premiere from Rodney Sharman “for guitar,” Arvo Pärt’s spellbinding “Spiegel im Spiegel,” and much more.
