Music on Main celebrates the winter season with a new tradition: a concert inspired by the solstice.

As the nights get cold and dark, great music brings us together. Join new and old friends at Heritage Hall for a gorgeous programme including works by Arvo Pärt, Alfredo Santa Ana, and Music on Main’s Composer In Residence Caroline Shaw – the youngest ever winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Music.

Together with Caroline, Artistic Director David Pay has brought together music from composers as diverse as Franz Schubert and Caroline Lizotte, Claude Debussy and the Wyrd Sisters.  It’s an evening that promises warmth and joy.

Read more about the concert in the Georgia Straight‘s interview with Caroline Shaw and Ariel Barnes.

Sold out!  Limited standing room only tickets available at the door.

This concert is generously sponsored by Eileen Mate.
