March 4, 2014 marks a new adventure with Music on Main. We launch our first concert at Vancouver’s most anticipated new venue: The Fox Cabaret.
Join the astounding pianist Corey Hamm when he performs seldom-heard gems by Johannes Brahms, György Ligeti, David Rakowski, Noël Lee, Dai Fujikura, and Henri Dutillieux, and a world premiere by Composer In Residence Jocelyn Morlock.
The concert also launches two new CDs: Corey Hamm’s highly-anticipated recording of Frederic Rzewski’s The People United Will Never Be Defeated! (on Redshift Records) and Jocelyn Morlock’s Cobalt, (on Centrediscs) the first-ever recording featuring her orchestral music. Both discs will be available at the concert.
