Adventurous music festival for young audiences.

Welcome to BIG BANG Festival, a festive ode to adventurous music and sound art for young audiences!

This joyful music festival promises a vibrant journey through colourful experiences: mini-concerts; interactive fun; surprise performances; and more! Children don’t just have to sit still and listen, but are swept up in the magic and excitement of music.

BIG BANG has already enchanted audiences across Europe, Canada, and Brazil. Now, it’s Vancouver’s turn to host this one-of-a-kind event: an unforgettable day of musical adventure for young audiences. For the first edition in Vancouver, Music on Main brings together local artists and international performers for a day filled with unique sounds and creativity.

Ages 5 and up can join in with free and ticketed concerts, hands-on activities, and more. With bouncing rhythms and colourful scores, the festival will fill the Roundhouse on Family Day weekend with sounds and celebration! This event is part of the Roundhouse Family Day.

Presented by Music on Main and the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre.

With the support of RBC, Alan & Elizabeth Bell, the Deux Mille Foundation, and the Beech Foundation.

Music on Main gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canada Council for the Arts, the City of Vancouver, and the Province of British Columbia.

BIG BANG is a creation of Zonzo Compagnie with the support of the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.

Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances Naomi Beeldens is unable to perform “Meredith’s Music Room”. Instead of the previously scheduled Musical Journey with three performances, we are delighted to offer two Music Rooms. Tickets for each Music Room can be purchased for just $5 per person.
