Music on Main and the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration join forces for an evening celebrating the origins of Bhangra.
Don’t miss UK Bhangra star Dalvinder Singh in an intimate concert that traces Bhangra’s roots to traditional Punjabi folk music and love songs. Think “MTV Unplugged”: a great pop artist performing an intimate set on acoustic instruments.
Singing and playing harmonium, Dalvinder will be joined by a band featuring mandolin, guitar, tabla, dholak (Indian drums). Together they perform Punjabi folk music and love songs, and acoustic versions of Dalvinder’s recent hits.
