Alexander Weimann is one of the most sought-after harpsichordists, ensemble directors, soloists, and chamber music partners of his generation.
For the opening concert of this new series at the Cellar, he has assembled a groundbreaking programme that explores his beloved mother’s roots in Hungary. Alongside György Ligeti’s Continuum for Harpsichord, you’ll hear old and new music for harpsichord in one of Vancouver’s most intimate venues.
