The B.C. Chinese Music Ensemble (BCCME) is a professional organization in British Columbia. It is also the largest Chinese music organization in North America. BCCME is a unique traditional music team in Canada, using traditional Chinese music to perform high-demand contemporary works. Founded in 2002, BCCME has the best and most professional Chinese composers and musicians.
The performing members of BCCME graduated from prestigious music academies with rich experience and performance, and they are also leaders of top orchestras in China and North America. The ensemble is led by Master Shi Zhuo (former conductor of the Shanghai National Symphony Orchestra).
