In addition to being Standing Wave’s clarinetist, AK performs with an eclectic array of ensembles. These include the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Turning Point Ensemble, Cascadia Reed Quintet, AdMare Wind Quintet and Victoria’s Aventa Ensemble, among others. As well, she has played concerts across the globe, with recent highlights in Taiwan, China, and Singapore.
AK holds degrees from the University of British Columbia and from Northwestern University, Chicago, and is currently on faculty at the Vancouver Academy of Music and the VSO School of Music.
