Miki Sawada, piano
Tuesday, March 19, 2013

Join Music on Main in welcoming Japanese pianist Miki Sawada for her Vancouver debut.  This young cosmopolitan pianist has performed all over the world, inspiring audiences to connect deeply with classical music.

Asked about her programme for this concert, Miki wrote:

The early 20th century is the most fascinating cultural period for me;

the restless energy of that time, an almost aggressive seeking the new

can really be felt in its music - a conglomerate of some of the most

innovative, disjunctive, and exciting music.

Don't miss a chance to discover a great new talent for yourself.
