Moving freely from avant-garde events to traditional concerts, the Quatuor Bozzini transcends the tastes of any particular era or musical tradition, playing music that is famous and music that is unknown, music familiar and music strange, music old and music new.  For their Music on Main debut, the string quartet offers an aural portrait of Montreal through music by Claude Vivier and Michael Oesterle and Malcolm Goldstein, alongside the world premiere a new clarinet quintet from Vancouver’s Owen Underhill, featuring clarinetist François Houle.
