What does Vancouver sound like? The answers are many. When flutist Mark Takeshi McGregor and pianist Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa return to the Cellar for an inspired evening of classic, recent and new compositions from Vancouver composers, they’ll offer us a chance to explore our city through sound. Hear duo Tiresias perform music by Elliot Weisgarber, Jean Coulthard and Jennifer Butler in a concert that includes recorded soundscapes by the internationally renowned Vancouver-based composer Hildegard Westerkamp.
